Bomb explodes beneath Motijheel Metro Station

Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb onto the road beneath the metro rail station at Shapla Chattar in Motijheel, the capital. Another unexploded bomb was recovered from the scene.
The petrol bomb was thrown on Friday night. However, no casualties were immediately reported.
Meanwhile, police and members of the Bomb Disposal Unit arrived at the scene. They are collecting evidence and working at the site.
Eyewitnesses said, “A loud explosion was suddenly heard on the road beneath the metro station at night.” Following the incident, police and members of law enforcement agencies went to the scene. Later, another unexploded bomb, wrapped inside an umbrella, was found at the scene.
