Bangladesh to maintain ties with all nations: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General and LGRD Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the government aims to maintain relationships with all nations while prioritizing the interests of Bangladesh.
He made these remarks on Friday during a seminar held at the Hotel Intercontinental in Dhaka.
Fakhrul added that the government remains committed to fulfilling the promises the BNP made to the public prior to the elections.
He noted, “Democracy is somewhat under threat worldwide, but we always believe in the trend of democracy. The government is always accountable to the people.”
Fakhrul explained that the global economy and politics are experiencing volatility due to various international war situations. The government aims to establish ties with every country by placing Bangladesh’s interests at the forefront.
Moreover, during the event, Fakhrul urged the public to ignore the rumors regarding the resignation of President Mohammed Shahabuddin.
