BMD Forecasts Rain, Thunder for Dhaka

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said rain with thunder may occur in Dhaka and daytime temperature might decrease slightly.

BMD confirmed the matter in a weather forecast for Dhaka and its surrounding areas for the next six hours, effective from 7 am on Wednesday.

According to the forecast, Dhaka’s sky may remain cloudy to overcast. During the period, rain or thundershowers may occur. Wind may blow from the South or South-West at a speed of 10-15 km/h.

At 6 am, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, with air humidity at 98 percent. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature recorded was 32.4 degrees Celsius and 59 millimeters of rainfall was recorded over the last 24 hours.
