BMD Forecasts Rain, Thundershowers Over Dhaka

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said the sky over Dhaka may remain cloudy to overcast and rain or thundershowers could occur by noon.
BMD confirmed the matter in the weather forecast for Dhaka and its surrounding areas for the six-hour period starting from 7 am on Friday.
According to the forecast, winds might blow from the south or southeast at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour. The sky is expected to remain cloudy to overcast, with the possibility of rain or thundershowers. Daytime temperatures are likely to remain unchanged.
At 6 am on Friday, the temperature was 26.2 degrees Celsius, while the humidity was recorded at 97 percent.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 31.1 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperature is 25.8 degrees Celsius. Over the last 24 hours, 28 millimeters of rainfall has been recorded.
