Prime Minister to Return Home Tonight
- PM Orders No Show of Strength at Airport

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is scheduled to return to Bangladesh tonight after concluding a six-day official visit to Malaysia and China.
The prime minister will fly directly from Beijing to Dhaka. He is expected to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 8 pm Bangladesh time, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, and members of the official delegation.
Senior BNP leaders, including party Secretary General and Local Government Adviser Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, along with senior government officials, are expected to receive the prime minister at the airport.
Deputy Press Secretary Zahidul Islam Rony confirmed the schedule.
No Show of Strength at the Airport
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has instructed party leaders and supporters not to organize any show of strength or large public gathering at the airport upon his arrival.
The information was shared by Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP media cell, citing BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and prime ministerial adviser Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
The prime minister began his official overseas tour on June 21 with a visit to Malaysia, where he spent 36 hours attending official engagements. He then traveled to Dalian, China, on the afternoon of June 22 to continue the second leg of his visit.
