Dhaka braces for rain, thundershowers

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said rain or thundershowers may hit Dhaka by noon.
BMD released the weather forecast for the next six hours starting from 7 am on Thursday. Dhaka will experience a partly to temporarily cloudy sky, with rain or thundershowers highly likely. Southern or southeastern winds will blow at 10-15 kilometers per hour, while the day temperature is expected to remain nearly unchanged.
At 6 am, the temperature in Dhaka was 28.5 degrees Celsius, with 90 percent air humidity. The minimum temperature is recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius. Over the last 24 hours, Dhaka received 34 millimeters of rainfall.
