Khulna divisional book fair to run from November 10 to 18

The nine-day Khulna Divisional Book Fair will be held from November 10 to 18. Discussions, cultural programs, quiz competitions and various other events will be organized at the fair every day.
The book fair will remain open to visitors from 11 am to 10 pm on holidays and from 3 pm to 10 pm on other days. The information was shared at a preparatory meeting for the 2026 Divisional Book Fair.
The meeting was held at the conference room of Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md Abdullah Harun on Wednesday afternoon. He chaired the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, the divisional commissioner said books serve as good friends to people. He expressed hope that this year’s book fair would be successful with everyone’s participation. He also sought everyone’s cooperation to ensure the smooth completion of the fair.
The preparatory meeting was attended by Mu. Billal Hossain Khan, joint secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs; Abu Sayed Md Manzur Alam, additional divisional commissioner of Khulna; divisional level officials; representatives of the metropolitan committee of JASAS; and representatives of the Zia Shishu Kishore organization.
