Five Police Officers Transferred

Five officials holding the ranks of additional superintendent of police and assistant superintendent of police (ASP) in Bangladesh Police have been transferred and posted to new positions.
The information was disclosed in a notification issued by Police Headquarters on Wednesday. The notification was signed by Additional DIG of Police Headquarters Raihan Uddin Khan.
Among the transferred officials is Additional Superintendent of Police Sohrab Hossain of the Special Branch (SB) of Police. He has been transferred to Pirojpur.
Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Mahmud Khan of Police Headquarters has been posted to the Morelganj Circle in Bagerhat. He recently reported to Police Headquarters after completing a United Nations mission.
Another Additional Superintendent of Police, S M Monsur Musa, who also reported to Police Headquarters after completing a mission, has been transferred to the Habiganj Sadar Circle.
Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Mehedi Hasan Shatil of Police Headquarters has been posted at Police Headquarters. He also reported to the headquarters after completing a mission.
In addition, Tariq Latif, Assistant Commissioner (Patrol) of the Mohammadpur Zone of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), has been transferred as an assistant superintendent of police in the Highway Police.
The notification also said that the transferred officials must hand over their responsibilities at their current workplaces by July 29. They will have to complete the handover process to join their new postings. Otherwise, they will be considered stand released from July 30.
