Dies a day before results, Wadud earns GPA 4.11

Kazi Reza Wadud (15), was one of the top students in his 10th grade. After performing well in the SSC examination, he had been eagerly waiting for the results. As scheduled, the results were published today, Monday, and Wadud earned a GPA of 4.11.
But he never got to see the result. The talented student died of breathing difficulties one day before the results were published. His death has cast a shadow of grief over his family, teachers and classmates.
At around 12:00 pm last Sunday, Wadud was taken to Bahubal Upazila Health Complex, where a doctor declared him dead. He was the only child of Abdul Wadud Alfur of Chakrampur village in Bahubal upazila. He had taken this year’s SSC examination from Sunshine Model High School in the upazila.
According to his family, Wadud had been suffering from breathing problems for a long time. Around noon, his breathing difficulties suddenly worsened. He was quickly taken to Bahubal Upazila Health Complex, where a doctor declared him dead.
Wadud’s death has brought a wave of grief to his family. The grief has also spread throughout the area. His teachers and classmates have been particularly devastated. They had been expecting a good result from the student, but instead had to see his lifeless body before the results were published.
M Samchuddin Ahmed, head teacher of Sunshine Model High School, said Wadud had studied at the school since primary level. He was a talented and good student. The school had expected him to achieve a good result in the SSC examination. His death the day before the results were published has brought tears to all the teachers and students of the school.
