Four new faces in BNP's standing committee including Rizvi-Aman

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has included four new members in its highest policy-making forum, the National Standing Committee. They have been nominated to increase the party's organizational dynamism and following policy decisions. This information was announced in a press release today (Saturday).
The newly nominated members are Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Md. Aman Ullah Aman, Farhad Halim, and Md. Ismail Jabiullah.
The party's Joint Office Secretary Muhammad Munir Hossain said that BNP hopes the newly nominated members will play a pioneering role in making important decisions on behalf of the party and the people in the highest policy-making forum through their intellect, prudence, and thoughtful advice.
All four nominated leaders had previously served in important positions within the party. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi was the party's Senior Joint Secretary General. Meanwhile, Aman Ullah Aman, Dr. Farhad Halim Donar, and Ismail Jabiuallah were members of the BNP Chairman's Advisory Council.
The 19-member BNP National Standing Committee had seven positions vacant for a long time. Following the inclusion of the four new members, three positions now remain vacant in the standing committee.
BNP's last National Council was held on March 19, 2016. The National Standing Committee was reconstituted after that council.
