Chhatra Dal and general students resisted Shibir at JnU: Nasir Uddin

Chhatra Dal General Secretary Nasir Uddin has claimed that Chhatra Dal and general students resisted Shibir at Jagannath University. He made the claim while briefing journalists on Tuesday.

Nasir said, “There was a regular program of the UGC chairman at Jagannath University today. Shibir created a mob there and tried to create an unstable situation. The Jatiotabadi Chhatra Dal and general students resisted them there.”

He said, “Yesterday, Shibir conducted a show of force with weapons at Begum Rokeya University. We are saying, do not test the patience of Chhatra Dal, otherwise there is a possibility that the situation could become more complicated.”

It may be noted that clashes among student organizations took place last night at Begum Rokeya University and today at Jagannath University, Dhaka College and Dhaka Alia Madrasa.
