Jamaat Ameer calls for ending 'Game of Wrong Politics' in teacher recruitment

Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has called for moving away from the "game of wrong politics" in primary school teacher recruitment and evaluating merit and competence.

He made this call in a status posted on his verified Facebook account on Saturday (September 26).

The Jamaat Ameer said that entering government service is not a matter of political loyalty. As a citizen, a job seeker's merit and competence should be the only consideration in recruitment.

Calling for abandoning the actions of the "fascist era" in the name of verification, he said that the public will not accept any conspiracy similar to that time.

He further said that protest and resistance will continue with the people. The meritorious youth and young people must once again raise their voices to claim their rights.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that if concessions are made, Bangladesh will turn into a sanctuary of meritless fascism. Therefore, there is no room for concession in this matter.
