MP Ashraf Uddin named chairman of Defence Ministry committee

Member of Parliament Engineer Md Ashraf Uddin (Bakul) has been appointed chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Defence of the Bangladesh National Parliament.

On Thursday, September 10, he expressed his sincere thanks and deep gratitude to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman for assigning him the important responsibility at the National Parliament.

Party leaders and activists said Md Ashraf Uddin Bakul is enriched with patriotism and political wisdom. They said he will make important contributions to strengthening national security, modernising the defence system and carrying out related activities in his new role.
