Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan, a Member of Parliament and a member of the BNP National Standing Committee, said on Tuesday, "I extend my congratulations to those who have initiated the Agamir Somoy newspaper. We often say that we should look forward rather than backward. In that sense, Agamir Somoy will open the doors to new expectations for the public. Objectivity is the core principle of a newspaper. If this can be maintained, I believe the publication will gain acceptance among the people. However, everything changes with time."
The senior politician added, "What we understood as a newspaper 20 to 50 years ago no longer exists. Today, people read the news on their phones rather than through a print newspaper. Agamir Somoy is being launched as a print version, which is quite challenging in this era. Publishing a print newspaper today displays great courage. The team will manage the publication by confronting the contemporary challenges of today and the future."
