Mymensingh bus crash kills 7

Seven passengers of a CNG powered auto rickshaw were killed after a bus ran over the vehicle in Mymensingh.
The accident occurred at the Gandrapa bypass area of the upazila at noon on Friday.
Police could not immediately identify the victims. Three of them were women and one was a child.
The incident was confirmed by Mymensingh Additional Superintendent of Police Md Abdullah Al Mamun.
According to eyewitnesses, a Rajib Paribahan bus traveling from Jamalpur to Dhaka was passing through the bypass road when it hit a CNG auto rickshaw heading toward Muktagachha. The front sections of both the auto rickshaw and the bus were badly crushed. Seven people including a child were killed at the scene.
Kotwali Model Police Station Officer in Charge Muhammad Shibirul Islam said police went to the scene after receiving the news and began the rescue operation. Details will be provided later.
