Bangladesh Army chief leaves for Türkiye on official visit

Bangladesh Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman has left for Türkiye on a five day official visit.
He departed Dhaka for Türkiye on Sunday. The army chief is visiting the country at the invitation of the Turkish government.
The Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) disclosed the information.
During the visit, the army chief will visit various defense industry institutions in Türkiye. He will also pay courtesy calls on and exchange views with senior officials of the Turkish Armed Forces and other key defense related figures to further strengthen and enhance bilateral defense relations between Bangladesh and Türkiye.
