A young man was killed after being hit by the Kurigram Express train in Badarganj, Rangpur. The accident occurred on Wednesday morning in the Tekserhat area of Ramnathpur Union.

Raju Mia was the son of Ati Ali of Buzruk Bagbari village in Ward No. 1 of Bishnupur Union.

Locals said the young man had a mental health condition. He had left home alone in the morning without informing anyone.

Badarganj Railway Station Master Siddiq Ali said the body had been handed over to the deceased’s family.
