7 regions face squally winds, Dhaka to get rain

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said storms may occur in seven regions of the country and Dhaka is also predicted to experience rain or thunderstorms.
According to the weather forecast for inland river ports from 5 am to 1 pm on Friday, rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally winds blowing at 45-60 kilometers per hour from the south or southeast may occur over the regions of Faridpur, Barishal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox’s Bazar.
River ports in these areas have been instructed to hoist cautionary signal number 1.
Another weather forecast for the six hours following 7 am added that the sky may be partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy, with a chance of rain or thunder showers. Winds are expected to blow from the south or southeast at 10 to 15 kilometers per hour, and the day temperature may increase slightly.
At 6 am, the temperature was recorded at 25.4 degrees Celsius, with humidity at 97 percent. The minimum temperature was 24.6 degrees Celsius. In the last 24 hours, Dhaka has recorded 41 millimeters of rainfall.
