Prime Minister Meets Students Visiting Parliamentary Session
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman met with teachers and students from various educational institutions across the country who came to observe the parliamentary session.
The meeting took place on Wednesday afternoon before the start of the parliamentary session.
Deputy Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Sujon Mahmud said that during the meeting, the prime minister exchanged greetings with the students and inquired about their studies. He also urged them to develop themselves into skilled, competent, and ideal citizens so that they can contribute to nation-building. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of physical education and the practice of arts and culture.
He further said that under the initiative of the BNP government, teachers and students from various educational institutions across the country are being given the opportunity to observe sessions of the National Parliament.
As part of this initiative, teachers and students from different educational institutions visited the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Wednesday.
Arriving at the National Parliament in the afternoon, they toured the unique architecture of the parliament building. They also visited the parliament library and took commemorative photographs at different locations.
Later, the students directly observed the parliamentary session.
