Education Adviser Dr. A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon has announced special arrangements for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinees who were unable to sit for their exams on the scheduled dates due to inclement weather, in addition to students under the Chattogram Education Board.
Speaking in the Jatiya Sangsad on Wednesday, the education adviser said that examinations for students who could not take the HSC exams on the scheduled dates would be held in coordination with the postponed examination schedule of the Chattogram Education Board. The exams will be conducted at the same time, according to the same schedule and with identical question papers.
According to the adviser, examinations had been postponed in five districts due to adverse weather conditions. Those examinees who were unable to participate in the examinations will not sit for separate tests; instead, their exams will be arranged simultaneously with the postponed examinations of the Chattogram Education Board.
He added that the decision was taken to ensure that no examinee suffers any disadvantage. The concerned education boards will implement the examination schedule through necessary coordination.
