Government is deceiving people, will not be forgiven

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and Leader of the Opposition Shafiqur Rahman has alleged that the government is deceiving the people and said the people will not forgive them.
He made the remarks at a rally at Shimrail Mor in Narayanganj on Saturday morning as part of the 11-party alliance's long march from Dhaka to Chattogram. The program is being held with six demands including implementation of the referendum verdict.
Shafiqur Rahman said, “We have taken to the streets to implement the referendum. To implement the spirit of the July Mass Uprising. To resolve the gas electricity and fuel crisis.”
“This government is deceiving and cheating the people. The people will not forgive them,” the Jamaat Ameer added.
The politician also said, “The 11-party alliance is standing by the people. May Allah accept our united efforts. We will build a Bangladesh free from fascism. You will return home with the final smile of victory.”
Also speaking at the rally were Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and NCP Convener Nahid Islam, 11-party alliance leader Oli Ahmed and Mawlana Mamunul Haque among others.
Earlier on Saturday morning, the 11-party alliance's long march was inaugurated at Shapla Chattar in the capital. The long march began after the inauguration ceremony.
