Eight more die with measles symptoms in a day

Eight more children have died with measles symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, from 8 pm Wednesday to 8 am Thursday. During the same period, 1,171 people were infected.
The information was disclosed in the Directorate General of Health Services’ updated measles report released on Thursday afternoon.
According to the statement, eight more children died with measles symptoms in the past 24 hours. However, no child’s death has been confirmed as being caused by measles.
With these latest deaths, a total of 684 children have died with measles symptoms across the country since March 15.
Another 95 children have died after being infected with measles. That means a total of 779 children have died from measles and measles-related symptoms during this period.
