Nine more people have died from dengue across the country in the past 24 hours. During the same period, 1,902 people infected with dengue were admitted to hospitals.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported the figures in its regular dengue bulletin Monday afternoon.

Three Children Die With Measles Symptoms

Three children have died with symptoms of measles in the past 24 hours. During the same period, another 1,356 children were diagnosed with measles. The Directorate General of Health Services said this in a statement Monday.

It said that all three children who died from measles during the past 24 hours were classified as suspected measles deaths. Of the 1,356 children identified with measles during this period, 60 were confirmed cases and 1,296 were suspected cases.

Since March 15, a total of 197,722 suspected measles cases have been identified across the country, while 21,808 children have been confirmed as having measles. During this period, 175,336 patients have been admitted to hospitals, of whom 168,142 have been discharged.

In addition, 1,128 children have died from measles across the country since March 15. Of these, 1,026 deaths were suspected measles cases and 102 were confirmed measles cases.
