Six more die in one day with measles symptoms

Six more people died with measles symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours from 8 am Monday to 8 am. Tuesday. With this, the total number of deaths from measles and related symptoms across the country has reached 1,036 since March 15 this year. In addition, 1,316 new cases of measles and related symptoms were reported in the past 24 hours.
The Directorate General of Health Services said this in its regular measles report on Tuesday.
According to the report, 1,239 people were identified with measles symptoms in the past 24 hours. From March 15 to September 15, the total number of people identified with measles symptoms reached 173,959.
The number of confirmed measles cases was 77 in the past 24 hours. From March 15 to September 15, the total number of confirmed measles cases reached 20,201.
From March 15 to September 15, 153,279 people were admitted to hospitals with measles symptoms. During the same period, 147,386 people recovered and were discharged from hospitals.
In addition, six people died with measles symptoms in the past 24 hours. From March 15 to September 15, a total of 936 children died with measles symptoms.
No one died from confirmed measles in the past 24 hours. From March 15 to September 15, a total of 100 people died from confirmed measles.
