Measles and measles-like symptoms claim over 500 lives

Thirteen more children have died in the country due to measles and measles-like symptoms. The death toll from the disease and its symptoms has now surpassed 500.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) released this information today, Saturday.
According to the DGHS, in the last 24 hours (from Friday 8:00 AM to Saturday 8:00 AM), 13 more children died due to measles and measles-like symptoms. During the same period, 2,132 new patients were identified.
From March 15th of this year until now, the total number of deaths related to measles and its symptoms has reached 512.
Since March 15th, the total number of cases has reached 71,001. The number of hospitalized patients is 49,389.
In the last 24 hours, there was 1 confirmed death from measles and 12 suspected deaths.
