Two more children die with measles symptoms

Two more children died with measles symptoms in Bangladesh over the past 24 hours. This brings the number of deaths with measles symptoms this year to 831. During this period, 880 new patients with measles and measles symptoms were admitted to hospitals.

The Directorate General of Health Services confirmed the information in its regular press release sent today, Saturday.

The Directorate General of Health Services said two more children died with measles symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours. However, no child died after being confirmed to have measles.

Since March 15, a total of 831 children have died across the country with measles symptoms.

Meanwhile, 99 children have died after being confirmed to have measles since March 15.

In total, 930 children have died from measles and measles symptoms.
