Three more children die with measles symptoms, 1,044 newly infected

Three more children died with measles symptoms in the country in the past 24 hours. During this period, 1,044 people were newly infected with measles and measles symptoms.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) control room disclosed the information in a press release sent on Thursday.

According to the release, 964 patients with measles symptoms were identified in the past 24 hours. From March 15 to September 3, the total number of measles patients reached 161,148.

During this period, 80 confirmed measles cases were reported. From March 15 to August 3, the total number of confirmed measles cases was 19,527.

From March 15 to September 3, a total of 141,449 patients with measles symptoms were admitted to hospitals. During the same period, 136,405 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals.
