3 Children Die of Measles Symptoms in Sylhet

Three children with measles symptoms have died in Sylhet in 24 hours, taking the divisional toll to 72.
Divisional Health Directorate confirmed the matter on Wednesday morning.
The three children passed away at Sylhet Shahid Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital and Osmani Medical College Hospital.
According to the Divisional Health Directorate, a total of 284 patients are receiving treatment for measles symptoms in various hospitals across the division.
Within the last 24 hours, one new case was confirmed through laboratory testing, and 56 suspected patients were admitted to various hospitals during the same period.
Since 1 January, the division has recorded 323 measles cases. Four were confirmed measles cases; the remainder are suspected.
