Measles symptoms claim 7 lives in one day, 1,194 infected

Seven people died from measles symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours. During this period, 1,194 people were newly reported with measles and its symptoms.
The information was disclosed in a press release sent by the Directorate General of Health Services control room on Thursday.
According to the press release, 1,165 patients with measles symptoms were identified in the last 24 hours. A total of 168,745 measles patients have been reported from March 15 to September 10.
During this period, 29 confirmed measles cases were reported. The total number of confirmed measles cases from March 15 to September 10 stood at 19,933.
From March 15 to September 10, a total of 148,505 people with measles symptoms were admitted to hospitals.
