5 more children die with measles symptoms

In the past 24 hours, five children have died in the country with symptoms of measles. The total death toll from measles and its symptoms has now reached 825. During this period, an additional 1,105 people have shown signs of measles and its symptoms.
The information was shared in today's (Monday) regular measles update report from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The DGHS reported that in the last 24 hours, three children died with measles symptoms in Dhaka division alone. Additionally, two more children, one each in Sylhet and Rangpur divisions, died with measles symptoms during this time. Overall, from March 15 until Monday, a total of 825 deaths have occurred due to measles and its symptoms.
Meanwhile, across the country, 113 new cases of measles were confirmed in the past 24 hours. In addition, 992 more people showed symptoms of the disease during this period. With this, from March 15 until Monday, a total of 124,745 people have been found with measles symptoms, and 15,555 people have been confirmed with measles during this time.
