Senior BNP leader Mirza Abbas, who is undergoing treatment in Malaysia, is gradually recovering. Following doctors' advice, he has started walking and doing light physical exercises alongside his regular therapy.

Today, Monday, BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan provided this information.

Shayrul Kabir Khan said, "Following the doctor's advice, after finishing his therapy session on Monday morning, Mirza Abbas took a walk in an open space with his wife. He also did some light physical exercises."

"He is currently receiving regular foot therapy at the Pusat Rehabilitasi Neuro-Robotik dan Sibernik Kebangsaan Parkeso Center in Malaysia. Doctors have advised him to continue his regular therapy, walking, and exercises," he added.

Party sources say that on March 11, Mirza Abbas suddenly lost consciousness during Iftar. As his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to Evercare Hospital in the capital, Dhaka, where he underwent brain surgery.

Later, on March 15, he was taken to Singapore by air ambulance for advanced treatment. After about a month of treatment there, his physical condition improved.

Subsequently, on doctors' advice, he was transferred to Prince Court Hospital for advanced physiotherapy. Currently, he is receiving regular therapy as part of the specialized rehabilitation program there.
