Eight die with measles symptoms in a day, 1,065 new cases reported

Eight people died with measles symptoms in the country in the past 24 hours. During the same period, 1,065 people were found to have measles or measles symptoms.

The information was disclosed in a press release sent by the control room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Saturday.

According to the press release, 1,014 patients with measles symptoms were identified in the past 24 hours. The total number of patients with measles symptoms from March 15 to October 24 reached 219,884.

The number of confirmed measles cases in the past 24 hours was 51. From March 15 to October 24, the total number of confirmed measles cases reached 23,324. During the same period, 195,514 patients with measles symptoms were admitted to hospitals.

The press release also stated that 187,605 patients had recovered and been discharged from hospitals during the same period.
