Motorcyclist killed in bus collision in Rajbari

A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a bus on the Rajbari-Kushtia Regional Highway. The accident occurred in Chandni under Rajbari Sadar Upazila at around 7:15 am on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Md. Nur Alam (28). He was the son of Sakaul Islam of Sutail village in Mirpur Upazila of Kushtia.
Md. Rokonuzzaman, officer in charge of Pangs ha Highway Police Station, confirmed the accident.
Local resident Parvez Khan said a local bus traveling from Rajbari toward Kushtia hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction after passing Chandni Bus Stand. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
OC Rokonuzzaman said the process of taking legal action in connection with the incident is underway.
