Prime Minister to Attend Three Programs on Eid Day

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will attend three programs on the day of Eid-ul-Azha. The information was disclosed on Wednesday by the Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.

He said, “Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will attend the main Eid congregation at the National Eidgah at 7:30 a.m. From there, the Prime Minister will go to Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, where he will pay respects and offer Fateha at the graves of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.”

The Additional Press Secretary said the Prime Minister will then return to his residence in Gulshan from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. In the afternoon, he will attend the traditional ‘Borokhana’ (festive meal) organized by the Armed Forces at Dhaka Cantonment.
