2 shot in Pallabi, including former BNP ward leader

Two people, including former BNP ward leader and fish trader Alamgir Hossain, were shot by unidentified assailants in Pallabi.
The incident took place in the Millat Camp area at around 7:15 pm on Friday. Alamgir has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The identity of the other victim could not be confirmed.
Pallabi Police Station Officer in Charge Hasan Basir confirmed the incident, saying a shooting took place in the Millat Camp area of Pallabi. Two people were injured. One was shot in the head and the other in the back.
He said, “We have learned initially that the shooting took place over previous enmity. The injured have been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.”
