Bangladeshi killed in Saudi Arabia, foreign ministry strongly condemns Houthi attack

A Bangladeshi national was killed after a Houthi missile or drone struck an Aramco facility in the Al Khurais area of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed grief over his death and strongly condemned the Houthi attack.
The deceased Bangladeshi has been identified as Md. Sajib Hossain.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said this in a press release Monday. It also expressed its sincere condolences to the bereaved family and relatives of the deceased.
Sajib died Sunday. He was a resident of Cumilla district.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Saudi Arabia has already contacted the deceased’s family members and employer. The family is being provided with all necessary assistances. The embassy is coordinating with the relevant Saudi authorities to complete the necessary formalities and arrange for the repatriation of his remains to Bangladesh.
