Dr Kamruzzaman appointed DG of July Museum

The government has appointed Dr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, joint secretary on special duty at the Ministry of Public Administration, as director general of the July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification appointing him to the post on Wednesday.
Through the appointment, his service has been placed under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. Until now, Tanjim Wahab, director general of the National Museum, had been serving as director general of the July Memorial Museum.
On the same day, Navy officer Commodore Fazlar Rahman was appointed as the new managing director of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation.
Through the appointment, his service has been placed under the Ministry of Shipping. At the same time, Commodore Md. Mahmudul Malek, managing director of Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, was sent back to the Navy, and his service was placed under the Armed Forces Division.
