Education Minister Orders Mandatory In-House Coaching in Schools

Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Hoque Milon has said that arrangements for in-house coaching must be made for every student, alongside pre-selective and selective examinations.
He issued this directive today (Wednesday) during an exchange meeting with the central secretaries of the Dhaka Education Board, Mymensingh Education Board, Madrasha Education Board, and the Technical Education Board.
The education minister also called for determining the honorarium for teachers in consultation with the local management committee. He said ted, "Our result consistency has dropped. We have seen the results of 2021, 2022, and 2023. We need to push it upwards."
During this time, the minister noted that the 2027 SSC examination will be held in January.
He said if any question paper leak takes place in the upcoming HSC and equivalent examinations starting on July 2nd, no one involved will be spared.
Teachers and employees who have not received their retirement benefits since 2022 will start receiving their outstanding dues from mid-July onwards, he added.
The education minister said that there are vacancies for head teacher positions in over 60,000 government primary schools across the country, and initiatives will be taken to fill them quickly.
