Beauty Pal, a school teacher of Fenchuganj in Sylhet, has revealed that a youth posing as a journalist was behind the circulation of her viral video. In an interview, Beauty Pal said that she used to follow this so-called journalist on social media. He called her after seeing the school reel and subsequently spread the video on his Facebook page named 'Fenchuganj Protidin' with a negative caption.

However, Beauty Pal has received support from higher authorities over cyberbullying and demeaning her. She said, "The higher authorities have supported me. They told me, 'You haven't done anything wrong. We know about your co-curricular activities. We know who you are and how you are.' So, there is no need to worry about this."

Stating that she also received support from the State Minister for Education, Beauty said, "The statement that State Minister for Education Bobby Hajjaj made regarding me is, I believe, the greatest achievement for me. I have nothing more to say. Let teachers live in peace. Let peace prevail in society as well."

Regarding the reel, she said, "I was asking a colleague of mine about how to make reels. He said, 'I'll show you how to make reels after school hours. You walk, I'll take the video, and you'll see how it's done.' I walked. It was a normal walk. And it was very windy. You are at our school now and can see how windy it is. My colleague then showed me how to go to Facebook, create a reel, add a song, and upload it."

Stating that she maintains her privacy, Beauty said, "At that time, I uploaded it to my personal Facebook ID. I have very limited friends on Facebook. I maintain the dignity of the teaching community and uphold my privacy. That's why I don't keep many friends on Facebook, nor do I want to."

Regarding the youth posing as a journalist spreading the video, the teacher said, "A young expatriate named Asif Iqbal Iran spread the video with a negative caption from a Facebook page called 'Fenchuganj Protidin'. He is a representative of the 'Fenchuganj Protidin' newspaper. I recently became the best teacher in Sylhet district. Several newspapers published news about me. After the news was published, while trying to follow the journalists, the 'Add Friend' option appeared. I don't know if that person was watching me on Facebook or what information he had collected about me. After the incident, he (Iran) called me."

Beauty further stated, "I told him, 'This isn't such a big deal. I think it would have been better if you hadn't made such a fuss over it. It would have been good for society and the country.' But he said, 'You have committed a crime. This is school premises.' However, our curriculum includes dance, music, art, and culture. We celebrate the New Year at school."
