The Chattogram Education Board has suspended Saturday’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination.
The information was announced on Friday in a notice signed by Prof. Md. Parvez Sazzad Chowdhury, Controller of Examinations of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Chattogram.
The notice said, “Due to the severe deterioration of weather conditions and the worsening flood situation, the Information and Communication Technology examination (Subject Code-275) scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, under the Chattogram Education Board in all districts (Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Khagrachhari, Rangamati and Bandarban) has been suspended. The revised schedule for the postponed examination will be announced later.”
The notice also made a special request to the officers-in-charge of all examination centers to inform local residents through public announcements, as there is no electricity in many areas, so that examinees and their guardians can be made aware of the matter.
