Transfer of BCS education cadre officials suspended

The Ministry of Education has decided to suspend the transfer and posting of officials of the BCS General Education Cadre. The decision will remain effective from Tuesday until further notice.
An office order to this effect was issued on Monday by the Government College 1 branch of the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education.
The office order said the transfer and posting of BCS General Education Cadre officials would remain suspended from October 6 until further notice.
The order was sent to the Director General of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education and the directors of the secondary and higher education regions for implementation.
However, the office order did not mention why the decision was taken.
