The results of this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations were published at 10:00 am today. At the same time, various education boards issued instructions for applying for result re scrutiny. Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu, Controller of Examinations at the Dhaka Education Board, said applications for re scrutiny can be submitted from August 11 to August 17.
To apply, applicants must visit rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd, enter the roll and registration numbers in the designated fields, and select the board from the dropdown menu. Then, applicants must click the Submit button. After that, they need to provide a mobile phone number.
An SMS will be sent to this number when the re scrutiny results are published. The student’s subject wise results will then be displayed on the next screen. To apply for re scrutiny of the result in one or more subjects, applicants must select the subjects and click the ‘Pay Fee’ button.
A fee of Tk 150 will be charged for each paper. For subjects consisting of two papers, applicants must apply for both papers. The amount of the fee payable will be shown on the next screen. The fee can be paid through bKash, Nagad and Sonali Seba. Detailed steps for paying the fee can be viewed by clicking the ‘Help’ button on the portal mentioned above.
After paying the fee, applicants must return to the application portal and click the ‘Submit’ button. If applicants wish to add more subjects after submitting an application with the fee paid, they can do so in the same way. However, they will not need to provide the mobile phone number again in that case.
If an application needs to be changed or modified before the fee is paid, applicants can click the ‘Delete’ button to withdraw the selected subjects for which the fee has not yet been paid and select new subjects.
However, once the fee has been paid, the subjects included in the application cannot be canceled, and the fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. No manual applications will be accepted.
