BMD forecasts rain, gusty winds

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said the sky over Dhaka has remained cloudy and the weather will likely remain mainly dry.
BMD confirmed the information in its weather forecast for six hours starting from 7 am on Saturday and added that winds could blow from the south or southeast at 8-12 kilometers per hour. Daytime temperatures may drop slightly.
At 6 am, the maximum temperature in Dhaka is 28 degrees Celsius, with humidity standing at 97 percent. The minimum temperature is recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius.
In its regular weather bulletin released on Friday afternoon, BMD announced that light to moderate rain or thunderstorms accompanied by temporary gusty winds may occur at many places across the Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
The bulletin added that similar weather patterns may affect a few places in the Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions. Moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may lash isolated areas across the nation. Both day and night temperatures will decrease slightly throughout the country.
