Ramisa murder case: chargesheet filed against Sohel and his wife

Police have submitted a chargesheet in court against accused Sohel Rana and his wife Swapna Akter in the case involving the rape and murder of child Ramisa Akter in Pallabi, Dhaka.
On Sunday, the investigating officer of Pallabi Police Station, Sub-Inspector Ahiduzzaman, submitted the chargesheet.
The document will be presented before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashraful Haque.
The charges include rape followed by murder against Sohel Rana, and aiding in rape and murder against his wife Swapna.
Ramisa was allegedly raped and killed in Pallabi, Dhaka, on Tuesday.
On the same day, police arrested Sohel Rana, a tenant of a nearby flat, and his wife Swapna. They were later sent to jail through court orders.
