3 hospitalized in a single day after falling prey to 'unconsciousness gang'

Three individuals fell victim to the "unconsciousness gang" (Ajnana Party) in separate incidents in the capital. The victims are Rahad (40), a pharmaceutical company employee; Moeenuddin (60), a hawker; and Uttam Kumar Sarkar (45). The incidents occurred between noon and evening today (Sunday).
They were rescued in an unconscious state and brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Hospital. They are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital's medicine department.
Uttam Kumar Sarkar was found unconscious on a BRTC bus in the Banglamotor area in the afternoon. A fellow passenger, Dr. Jobayer, who rescued him and brought him to the hospital, said that after eating a chocolate given by a hawker on the bus, Uttam Kumar fell unconscious. Taking advantage of this, the perpetrators took his money and mobile phone.
Uttam Kumar is a resident of the North Shahjahanpur Shantinagar area. His father's name is Jitendra Nath Sarkar.
Earlier, Rahad was rescued in an unconscious state from the Saddam Market area in Siddhirganj. He works as a delivery man for a pharmaceutical company named 'Apex Pharma.' His colleague, Enamul Haque, rescued him after receiving news that he was lying unconscious around noon and brought him to the hospital around 2:30 PM.
He said that Rahad is the son of Alauddin from that area. Neither his mobile phone nor his money was found with him.
On the other hand, Moeenuddin (60) was rescued in an unconscious state from the Gulistan Zero Point area around 12 noon. His wife, Mansura Begum, said that Moeenuddin works as a hawker on the footpaths of the Gulistan area. Their home is in the Matuail Nurbagh area.
Mansura said, "He left home in the morning for Gulistan. He fell unconscious while on the bus. Later, people dropped him off at the Gulistan Zero Point area. After receiving the news, we rescued him from there and brought him to the hospital. Nothing was found with him. Everything was lost."
Inspector Md. Faruk, the in-charge of the DMCH Hospital police outpost, confirmed the matter.
