Decomposed bodies of husband, wife, and newborn found in Ashulia

Police have recovered the partially decomposed bodies of a husband, wife, and their newborn from a locked room in Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka. The bodies were recovered last night (Friday) at midnight from the second floor of a four-story building in the Jamgora area.
Sub-Inspector Rasel Hossain of Ashulia Police Station confirmed the information.
Quoting locals, he said the couple used to live as tenants in a building owned by Hazrat Ali. The doors and windows of their room were always kept closed. Neighbors smelled a foul odor coming from the room at night and informed the police. Later, the bodies of the three were recovered. A towel was found wrapped around the deceased man's neck.
Saiful Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dhaka District North Detective (DB) Police, said, "The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed. It is suspected that they were murdered."
