Man arrested for murder over money dispute in Dhaka

Police arrested a man for murder following a dispute over money transactions in Mirpur, Dhaka on Monday.
Shah Ali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter. The victim has been identified as Mehedi Hasan, 26.
OC Jahangir added that Mehedi had an altercation with a man named Mahabub Rahman over money transactions. At one point, Mahabub struck Mehedi with a knife. Police stationed nearby heard a commotion and rushed to the scene.
They rescued Mehedi and transported him to the hospital, where he died around 6:30 am during treatment. Along with locals, police arrested Mahabub with the knife and the filing of a case against him is under process.
