Former DMP Chief Habibur Among Three Sentenced to Death

The International Crimes Tribunal has sentenced three people, including former Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman, to death in a case involving the fatal shooting of a young man during the July movement in Rampura, Dhaka.
The verdict was delivered on Sunday by International Crimes Tribunal-1, led by Justice Md. Golam Mortuza Majumdar.
The other members of the three-judge panel were Justice Shafiul Alam and Justice Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury.
The case centered on the shooting of a young man who was seen hanging from a building cornice in Rampura during the July movement.
