Petition Filed Against Dr. Yunus and Three Others
Dr. Muhammad Yunus, former Chief Adviser to the interim government
A petition seeking the filing of a criminal case has been submitted against four individuals, including former Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus and former Health Adviser Nur Jahan Begum.
The application was filed on Sunday in the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Joshita Islam in Dhaka by Sirajul Islam, the father of the late Sauda Nuskan.
Plaintiff’s lawyer Taslima Jahan Popy said the court recorded the complainant’s statement and kept its order pending.
The other two accused named in the petition are former Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services Dr. Md. Abu Jafar and former Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser Shafiqul Alam.
