President, Prime Minister Perform Eid Prayers at Main Congregation

President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman have performed their Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the main Eid congregation held at the National Eidgah Maidan, in the city.

The main Eid congregation commenced at 7:30 AM on Thursday (May 28) at the National Eidgah Maidan, adjacent to the High Court. Prior to this, the President and the Prime Minister arrived at the National Eidgah shortly after 7:00 AM to participate in the congregation.

In addition to the President and the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the National Parliament, the Chief Justice, cabinet members, diplomats from Muslim nations stationed in Dhaka, and other prominent dignitaries also offered their Eid prayers at the National Eidgah.
